Nicholas has an infectious smile that radiates when telling stories, especially stories about his adventures with his siblings. Nicholas was born with cystic fibrosis. This critical illness causes serious lung and digestive complications, which makes it hard for him to go on a lot of adventures like other kids his age.
For his wish, Nicholas wanted to spend time with his family on a local adventure. He travelled across Ontario visiting some of the province’s best attractions.
Nicholas and his family started their adventure in Niagara Falls where they went to the Butterfly Conservatory and Bird Kingdom. Next, they visited to The Toronto Zoo, where he fed the giraffes and took pictures of his favourite animals. Before heading home, they spent a day at Great Wolf Lodge. His favourite moment of the trip was going down the slides and splashing in the pool.
Nicholas’s mom says that going to the Great Wolf Lodge was the “icing on the cake” for a perfect trip.
The entire vacation was an adventure for Nicholas and his family. They are grateful for the experience and quality time spent together.
