Each summer, The Convenience Industry Council of Canada (CICC) partners with Make-A-Wish Foundation through National Convenience Week, providing an opportunity for community leaders, including the Prime Minister, Premiers, law enforcement, and professional athletes from across the country to join local retail members in hundreds of Canadian community stores to have fun and raise money. Over the past 5 years, CICC retailers and stakeholders raised nearly $500,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada. Since 2015, over $400,000 has been raised for Make-A-Wish Foundation chapters by Canadian convenience stores from similar events.
