For 36th year in a row, Make-A-Wish® will send kids with critical illnesses to the Super Bowl

PHOENIX, Jan. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ – Make-A-Wish® is bringing its own team of 14 kids with critical illnesses to Minneapolis for their wish to attend Super Bowl LII. These life-changing wishes are only possible thanks to volunteers and generous donations from supporters, like the National Football League (NFL).

Kimberly is a Registered Nurse and a mother of two. When her daughter, Mackenzie, was four years old, she was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a disease of the bile ducts. This condition eventually lead to liver failure, requiring her to have a liver transplant in 2007. Just one year after her transplant, Mackenzie’s wish to go to a theme park in Florida was granted by Make-A-Wish.
