Our friends at CSN Collision Centre are once again hosting their annual Hope for the Holidays auction  to raise funds for Make-A-Wish® Canada. Together with their network of licensees, industry partners and supporters across Canada, they are committed to finding ways to make wishes come true for children with critical illnesses.

Building off last year’s remarkable success of raising more than $95,000 for Make-A-Wish®, this year’s event will kick-off on Tuesday, November 30th and hosted by CSN’s brand ambassador and Indy Car driver James Hinchcliffe. The auction is open to the public for bidding for one week and will feature amazing items from electronics, experiences, trips and sports memorabilia.

“CSN is proud to have been supporting Make-A-Wish for the last 10 years. The cause Make-A-Wish stands for is something really important to CSN, our collision centres and our brand ambassador, James Hinchcliffe” says Ashley Thorpe, CSN Director, Marketing & Communications. “Each year we are honoured to collaborate and raise funds and help fulfill as many wishes as we can for children with critical illnesses. There is no greater feeling than being able to put smiles on the faces of wish children and their families.”

The pandemic taught us the true power of hope. We no longer take for granted what it means to have something to look forward to. We learned that the moment joy is on the horizon, everything changes. “The holiday season is a time of joy and celebration for most of us but for children with critical illnesses, a life of uncertainty remains. Families continue to be separated as their child undergoes treatment. The warmth, comfort and joy that so many of us associate with the holidays may be lost for a child who is isolated and vulnerable”, says Sheila Rees, Executive Vice President, Make-A-Wish Canada. “We’re incredibly grateful to CSN Collision Centre, and their strong network of supporters, who are committed to sparking joy and creating hope for our wish kids across Canada this holiday season. Their ongoing dedication sends a strong message the transformative power of a wish.”

So, here’s your chance – mark your calendars for November 30, and be sure to visit http://www.hopefortheholidays.ca/to learn more and to bid on the exciting prizes up for grabs!
