Registration is now open for Make-A-Wish Canada’s 48-HOUR RIDE, a relay challenge for participants of all skill levels. The event will take place from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the ICAR Circuit in Mirabel. Recognized as one of the largest fundraising events of its kind in Quebec, the 48-HOUR RIDE brings together hundreds of participants each year in support of a meaningful cause.

Gather your team and join us for an unforgettable weekend in support of children with critical illnesses. It’s simple: you and your team (of six people or less) will take turns in a 48-hour continuous relay. Whether you’re a casual rider or a high-performance peddler, everyone can join in: it’s all about showing up for the cause.

Teams can register online and set their own fundraising goal, with a minimum commitment of $4,200 per team.

Last year, more than 3,000 people formed over 470 teams and raised a record-breaking $3.7M to grant wishes. This year, your team can be part of this incredible initiative.

The funds raised will help grant even more wishes, because wishes are medicine.”

More than just a bike ride, the event features a lineup of activities to bring people together, including festive celebrations, meaningful gatherings, and a live wish reveal. Above all, it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself by rallying for children whose lives have been turned upside down.

The 48-HOUR RIDE Is Back

This year, the 48-HOUR RIDE team is aiming high with a $4M goal to support the mission of Make-A-Wish Canada—granting wishes that bring strength, hope, and resilience to children with critical illnesses and their families. By signing up, you’re turning kilometres into life-changing wishes.

To help achieve its goal, Make-A-Wish Canada relies on many corporate partners, including Keurig Dr Pepper, ABB, Bombardier, Blue Cross, RBC Royal Bank, Sports Experts, and Manulife. Their commitment plays an important role in making wishes come true and supporting the Foundation’s ongoing mission.
