CONNOR’S STORY

Connor’s parents Caroline and Mike describe their son in three words: funny, sweet and tough. His toughness has been on display since being diagnosed with cancer in August 2022. One weekend, Connor and his family were camping and enjoying nature.  When they returned home, Connor felt sick. He had a fever and difficulty breathing. He was rushed to urgent care for tests where a tumor was discovered on his rib. What transpired next was every parent’s worst nightmare. Connor was diagnosed with cancer and immediately required surgery to remove the tumor followed by chemotherapy. 

Today, Connor is doing well. He has almost completed his chemo and is now looking forward to going to a theme park in Florida with his family. Mom Caroline explained, “We are eager to put this difficult chapter behind us and celebrate with a stress-free, relaxing trip!”  Most of all, Connor is looking forward to having fun, being happy, not being stuck in a hospital bed.
