Whether your DAF is held through a community foundation, financial institution, or national provider, you can recommend a grant at any time and help create life-changing wishes for children across the country.

What is a Donor-Advised Fund?

A DAF is a charitable giving account set up with a public foundation. You make a contribution, receive an immediate tax receipt, and then recommend grants to charities of your choice over time.

Many Canadians use DAFs because they are:

  • Tax-efficient: Contribute a variety of assets and receive a tax benefit up front

How to Recommend a Grant to Make-A-Wish Canada

Simply contact your DAF provider and provide the following information:
