Obstacle Course Racing World Championships Partners With StrongBars Nutrition for Pure Strength Race Director & CEO Challenge to Benefit Make-A-Wish®
With the highly anticipated 2017 Obstacle Course Racing World Championships (OCRWC) returning to Canada’s Blue Mountains this October, Race Directors and company executives from around the world will have a chance to compete in a challenge that will forever transform the lives of children with critical illnesses.
StrongBars Nutrition, a valued partner of the OCRWC, will sponsor the first-ever 7-kilometer Pure Strength Race Director & CEO Challenge on Sunday, October 15, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish® Canada, the official charity partner of the 2017 event. The event will feature a $250 participation fee and is open to all Race Directors, company executives, and professionals and is expected to garner thousands of dollars in support of the mission of Make-A-Wish® to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
“I am honored and humbled to partner with the OCR World Championships and Make-A-Wish Canada in challenging all Race Directors and CEO’s to participate in this fun and exciting event,” said Phil Armstrong, CEO and founder of StrongBars Nutrition. “Family and community are the foundation of our corporate values and the Pure Strength brand and this is a great opportunity for the global OCR family to come together and support such an important cause.”
“Make-A-Wish truly embodies life-changing hope and joy, and we are thrilled to offer an event with our wonderful partners StrongBars Nutrition that will support its mission even further,” said OCRWC Sponsorship Director Sandra Sawyer. “The executives and Race Directors we work with are some of the most passionate and driven leaders in obstacle course racing and we are elated to have them come together during this memorable event for a very special cause. We hope to see many of them on the starting line this October.”
