October 27, 2015, TORONTO - Allison Wallace, director of media & communications, Flight Centre Canada visited the Make-A-Wish® Canada offices in Toronto today, to present Jennifer Klotz-Ritter, president & CEO, Make-A-Wish® Canada with a cheque for $50,000 -- the total amount raised during Flight Centre's Wish Trek challenge through Iceland that took place in August of this year. The money presented will support the foundation's efforts to grant wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses.
Led by G Adventures, the group successfully trekked 55km along the Landmannalaugar route across the Southern Highlands through one of Iceland's most active volcanic areas.
Make-A-Wish® would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Flight Centre for more than 12 years of support and its willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ to help grant magical wishes for courageous kids.
