This position reports to the CEO, Make-A-Wish® Atlantic Provinces, and plays a key role in building and supporting relationships with stakeholders in an effort to fulfill the mandate of granting wishes. The role will be responsible for establishing, managing and developing fundraising initiatives as well as a network of referring agents and volunteers throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. This position is home-based in St. John’s and is responsible for focusing fundraising efforts in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador while creating, implementing and monitoring a communications plan chapter-wide.

The mission of Make-A-Wish® Canada is: Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Along with the National Office, eight regional chapters grant transformational wishes for children in need from coast-to-coast. Make-A-Wish Canada (MAWC) is an affiliate of Make-A-Wish® International (MAWI), the largest wish-granting organization in the world, granting wishes for more than 450,000 children since 1980.
