Meet the courageous wish kids

Wishes are transformative, replacing fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. We believe that through these experiences, children can find strength and inspiration, discovering that anything is possible.

A wish is more than a wish

It’s a powerful psychological intervention that strengthens not only the children and parents facing critical illness but everyone connected to that child: their siblings and extended family, their teachers and classmates, their care team, volunteers, donors, and the broader community.

Woman for wishes

Women for Wishes

Last year, the inaugural Women for Wishes program inspired a diverse community of women from across Canada to be ambassadors to help Make-A-Wish raise $1 million dollars. Thanks to our participants, we reached our goal! Become part of the 2024 movement and help us smash our next $1 million dollar target, and grant wishes to children from coast to coast who are living with critical illnesses.
